Frank is on his way to get his CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) number from the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). So far he has been tested and passed with good results his BAER test (congenital deafness), Eyes (CAER), EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse), Cerebellar Ataxia (carrier), Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) and Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1) and he is also genetic clear for over 272 canine diseases (including most of our breed specific ones). However, as written up above, he carries one copy of CA which doesn't affect him neither the puppies he will produce. These health tests are the primary health tests that any and all breeders should perform on their parents dog before pairing them for breeding purposes. They are recommended by the OES parent club here in America. Also, a good breeder should have the results published publicly on the OFA website.
