Let me introduce you Prata’s Girl From Rio (OFA-CHIC) also known as Anitta. This special girl is a piece of our legacy to go on. I am proud of her. She comes from two CHIC qualified parents and she is CHIC qualified herself. She has a good pedigree with good quality OES on it. Her pedigree will lead us to some of the best OES produced globally. A long list of worldwide champions and grand champions on her background. I am honored to have produced her. Above all, she brings diversity and low COI to the OES breed. Which means healthier puppies on our next generations. We could not be any happier with this silly girl!
Because she doesn't deny her genes, she has an authentic OES personality we all love. She is even tempered, gentle, sweet, loving, goofy. She loves to give us kisses, hugs... Well, I would stay here many hours describing how good she is and I would not be able to say it all. She is amazing and she has one of the best personalities a dog could have. It is also important to mention that Anitta is part of our breeding program, because of the potential she has. She is one of the main pillars moving forward. She is part of our commitment to the betterment of the OES breed, in general.
Besides being very pretty and an excellent dog to our family, Anitta is a very healthy dog. She has got her CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) number from OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) after being submitted and approved on 10 OFA canines health screening tests, 9 of those tests being specific for the OES breed. However, we go beyond the requirements when it comes to health testing our breeding dogs. Among those health tests, Anitta has been tested for, you will find BAER (congenital deafness), Hips Dysplasia, Elbows Dysplasia, Eyes (CAER), Thyroid, EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse), Cardiac Evaluation, Cerebellar Degeneration, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) and Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1) and he is also genetic clear for over 240 diseases (including our breed specific diseases). These health tests are the primary health tests that any and all breeders should perform on their parents dog before pairing them for breeding purposes. They are recommended by the OES parent club here in America. Also, a good breeder should have the results publicly published on the OFA website.
